Dr. Byron Speed, a native of Starkville, Ms, has lived in Tuscaloosa since 1995. He attended Mississippi State University, received an undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi, and a medical degree from The University of Mississippi. He received his diagnostic radiology training at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. In addition to board certification, Dr. Speed has also received a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He practices at The Radiology Clinic and is also on staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Medical Center, Fayette Medical Center and Pickens County Medical Center.
