Dr. Douglas Hamiter, a native of Tuscaloosa, AL, has lived in Tuscaloosa since 2001. He received an undergraduate degree from University of Alabama, a medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham, where he also received his diagnostic radiology training. He completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology from University of Alabama Hospital. He practices at The Radiology Clinic and is also on staff at DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Medical Center, Fayette Medical Center and Pickens County Medical Center. Dr. Hamiter while performing most radiology procedures, has special interest in vascular diseases and endovascular treatments.
