Filmless radiology with instant digital access — powered by SYNAPSE and cloud-connected imaging infrastructure.
What is PACS?
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) — also known as SYNAPSE — is essentially filmless radiology. Images are stored digitally in The Radiology Clinic's computer system and distributed instantly to referring physicians via secure internet access.
Our PACS infrastructure connects The Radiology Clinic, DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Medical Center, and Fayette Medical Center — enabling seamless image sharing across the region.
All networked through PACS/SYNAPSE for seamless image sharing.
Images and reports distributed in minutes via the internet. Access from any computer — office, hospital, or home — with your access code.
Images and reports can be retrieved at any time and sent in any format: compact disc, internet, or radiographic film. Multiple copies circulate while the original stays archived.
Images can be enhanced, enlarged, and rotated for detailed analysis — giving physicians powerful diagnostic tools at their fingertips.
Multiple physicians can access the same images simultaneously, enabling real-time collaboration on complex patient cases.
