 Medical Informatics Specialist

The Medical Informatics Specialist will assist in the analysis, design, testing, implementation, and daily maintenance of the Medical Imaging information and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) throughout The Radiology Clinic and potentially other Simplified Medical Management customers. This position will also participate in rotational call for support of The Radiology Clinic RIS, Dictation and PACS products. This role is a direct liaison with user, technical support, training, and operations personnel. This position will provide technical and administrative support to the clinical departments and assist more senior level team members with project and support activities. Responsibilities include hardware support and build, imaging informatics application maintenance and troubleshooting, QC for data integrity, and other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and three (3) years of technical experience. On-the-job experience should be supplemented with continuing education gained through technical seminars and/or training courses. 5 years of relevant clinical informatics or PACS administration experience may substitute for degree requirement.

Preferred: Experience as a technical administrator for EMR, PACS, and dictation systems in a clinical setting. Experience with data reconciliation, applications testing, and end user training. Familiar with database management and architecture, SQL query language and database reporting solutions, and Microsoft Group Policy objects and configuration.

Experience with Windows server based operating systems like Windows 2016, Windows 2019

In-depth experience with Windows desktop operating systems like Windows 10

In-depth experience with web browser configuration settings using Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.

CT Technologist

We have an immediate opening in our CT Department. This position will be Monday thru Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm and every 5th Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. The ideal candidate will be ARRT registered, possess excellent patient care skills, have the ability to multitask, maintain a strong work attendance record, and enjoy working at a fast pace. Previous CT experience favored but not required.

MRI Safety Assistant

The Radiology Clinic has an immediate opening for an MRI Safety Assistant. This position will be Monday thru Friday 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm with some on-call time during weekends. This position will ensure the MRI technologist has a safety assistant present in the department during MRI exams, ensuring best practice for MRI safety. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills and the ability to multitask. They must have a proven, strong work attendance record and be detail-oriented. Previous clinical assistant experience preferred but not required.

Front Desk

We have a position open for a Front Desk Receptionist! The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for making sure all patients are checked in to the system efficiently, promptly, and courteously to ensure an A+ Patient Experience.
